INTRODUCTION TO LESSONS
The following lessons are made up of 10 foundational Bible study topics. They were designed to be taught to the new believer by a mentor; therefore, the format differs somewhat from the other material on the site.
In the context of a one-on-one setting, the disciple would be required to turn to the verses for themselves for familiarization. This method helped to teach the student their way around the Bible and encouraged them to explore on their own.
The Scriptures state, “The entrance of thy words giveth light…” (Psalm 119:130). In the final analysis, the explanations given by the teacher are only supplementary rather than the essential part. Therefore, I would strongly encourage those who study the lessons on their own to take the time to look up every scripture reference.
“Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word” (Psalm 119:169).
