INTRODUCTION: “The night is far spent, the day is at hand…” (Rom. 13:12)

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

Although written more than two thousand years ago, the above Scripture provides a window into the present. The “latter days” will be characterized by a “falling away” (2 Thess. 2:3) from the truth. An accelerating departure from biblical Christianity to religion and philosophy, from the infallible preserved Word of God to the traditions of man, from sound doctrine to false doctrine, from edification to entertainment, from steadfastness to compromise and mixture.

“For the time will come when they will NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables”   (2 Timothy 4:3-4) [Emphasis added].

The hour is late, and the time is upon us.

We believe contemporary Christianity’s larger part is guilty of neglect concerning the “perfecting of the saints.” The shallow teachings of “liberal Christianity” leave the multitude of God’s people unlearned, unguarded, and unprepared for the challenges of the final hours of the Church age” tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine…” (Eph. 4:14).

Satan’s first and foremost strategy is deception; the Word of God warns that in the end times, “…evil men and seducers shall wax [grow] worse and worse, DECEIVING, and being DECEIVED” (2 Tim. 3:13). “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be FALSE TEACHERS among you…” (2 Peter 2:1) [All emphasis mine].

In reality, we are living in doctrinally compromised times, a post-Christian era. “Cultural Christianity” has drifted far from “Biblical Christianity,” away from the fundamental doctrines vital to its effectiveness and spiritual well-being. As prophesied, this progressive, malignant worldly influence has today reached its pinnacle. Resulting in “modern (entertainment-oriented) Churches” and “Cross-less Christianity” compatible with modern culture. “Worship is no longer worship when it reflects the culture around us more than the Christ within us.” A.W. Tozer

Ephesians 4:11-16 encapsulates the goal of our mission:

11″And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”  [Emphasis mine].

The above verses state the purpose and goals of spiritual mentorship, providing both exhortation and explanation concerning the development of Christ-like character: “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect [spiritually mature, blameless] man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ…”, “…a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use” (2 Tim. 2:21) [Emphasis added]. We desire to train up “soldiers” for Jesus Christ in these last days.

The hour’s need is to get back to the “fundamental doctrines” of “biblical Christianity.”

This website aims to advocate for the revival of biblical Christianity’s “fundamental doctrines.” A return to the faith’s time-honored truths, stressing the critical importance of sound biblical teaching through the essential principle of “rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). Our beliefs: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God” and one Bible. It is our conviction that God’s pure Word (the absolute, providentially inspired, and preserved) King James Bible, not man, is the final authority in all faith, doctrine, and matters.

This website is designed with the hope of encouraging the revitalization of the divine mandate of 2 Tim. 2:2: “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” Spiritual multiplication” by means of personal discipleship duplicating Jesus’ example with His disciples. Highlighting the sanctification [growth] process necessary for believers to reproduce in the lives of others. A ministry to which every “born again” believer should aspire. “Salvation is the miracle of a moment; sanctification is the process of a lifetime.” Salvation is much more than personal deliverance from eternal condemnation; Christians are saved to serve the Lord, grow, and reproduce. The second birth is what you receive from God when you repent and trust Christ with your soul; sanctification concerns what God gets from you when you learn to trust and serve Him with your life.

The various subjects listed on the site aim to reveal the underlying principles of sanctification (spiritual growth process) through an in-depth study of God’s Word’s “fundamental doctrines.” The spiritual understanding and vision necessary to “grow in grace, and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ…” (2 Peter 3:18). To this end, the site has two primary areas of study: First, listed either on the right sidebar or at the bottom of the welcome page, you will find ten topics under the header “Learning the Bible.” The basics, “the milk of the word,” are the subjects listed as the foundational building blocks of sound doctrine. The second section, found under “Living the Bible,” lists numerous deeper topics. Subjects that the Bible refers to as “strong meat.” These (much neglected) subjects provide the “spiritual understanding” (Col.1:9) necessary to put off the “old man” and put on the “new man” to “…walk in newness of life” (Rom. 6:4) to the glory of God.

To learn more, be sure to visit our ARTICLES section, which covers additional subjects that play an essential role in the believer’s spiritual development.

The video trailer at the top of this page highlights my recently published book, “SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING IN THE LAST DAYS  (How To Preserve In Perilous Times), which contains both black & white and color illustrations to aid the understanding of various doctrines. The book can be purchased on Amazon.

In every generation, “The Lord knoweth them that are his…” (2 Tim. 2:19). During times of spiritual darkness, God always has a “remnant.” (Isa. 1:9). “Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” Those who seek to know and live the truth regardless of the cost. The steadfast who refuse to compromise their convictions. Our purpose is to equip those who understand the times in which we live.  To encourage the faithful who grasp the significance of the current cultural crisis and the consequent decline of sound biblical teaching to hold fast to the “…old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls” (Jerm.6:16).

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Matt. 11:15). “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it…” (Isa. 30:21).
